Not
far from the place where the battle of Lutetia
took place, Napoleon I wanted to build the
wider building of the world.
In occasion of the universal exhibition
of 1878 the magnificent building of the
Trocadero was created and it was replaced,
in 1937, with the Palace of Chaillot.
The neoclassical style of the buildings,
the majesty of gardens and the beauty of
the structures approaches this square to
the Napoleonic project.
